SKOAH, VANCOUVER'S FAMED SKIN CARE LINE AND SPATIQUE, TO OPEN FIRST U.S. LOCATION IN BOSTON

“No Whale Music, No Bubbling Cherubs, No Pretentious Attitude”

BOSTON(May 15, 2010):Boston skin care aficionado Peter Dziedzic, will launch the first U.S. outpost of skoah, a widely-popular Vancouver-based skincare brand -- think personal training for your skin.  skoah is slated to open in June 2010 at 641ATremont Street in Boston's South End.

skoah products combine the best of nature with modern science by featuring high-performance active ingredients mixed with dynamic plant-based ingredients to ensure maximum results.  The skoah philosophy is based on the premise of "personal training for the skin."  Just like the body, the skin needs regular workouts to stay healthy and look its best.

The skoah product line for both men and women incorporates all the essentials as well as make-up, hair care, body, hand and feet care as well as special kits. The line features witty and unique product names including such best sellers as the popular skrubbin' face wash, turbo tonik, face skotion, hydradew mask and eye kandy -- just to name a few. The affordable products range in price from $15-$80.

Along with the entire product line, customers will also have access to skin care trainers who will provide skin care plans intended to generate lasting results and train customers for better skin. skoah will feature customized facials dubbed "skin care workouts" designed to be relaxing, blissful and sweat-free.

"At skoah, we are dedicated to providing simply powerful skin care.  No gimmicks.  Nothing extraneous.  When I first visited skoah in Vancouver last summer, I fell in love with the products and the overall concept of 'Personal Training for your Skin'.  I knew this was something Boston needed," says Peter Dziedzic. "skoah's Canadian-made skin care products combined with facials-only services resonated with me.  Bostonians are a very sensible type and I know skoah products will appeal to this community because they deliver results."

The 1,100 square foot space, designed by THEREdesign, is meant to evoke a chic Canadian cabin. Everything from the layout of the space, to the materials used, to the lighting and music, is selected to maximize the customer experience.  In addition, the

space exemplifies how skoah is different from other skin care experiences here in Boston.  For example, the treatment rooms are not rectangles, but rather are non-traditional shapes designed to take advantage of the natural light in the space.

ABOUT PETER DZIEDZIC
